Polaroid Wireless Performance Battery Grip For Canon Eos T1i, XSi, XS Digital Slr Cameras - Remote Shutter Release Included Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I'm very Happy that I purchase the Polaroid Battery grip for My Canon Rebel T1i. Before buying this battery grip, I was searching for different type of battery grips for my Canon Rebel T1i, I looked around read many user reviews from various battery grips that were compatible with my Rebel T1i. As much as I love my camera and love taking photos, I really didn't want to invest too much on a battery grip and buy the Canon brand battery grip which is priced twice (even more at my local Camera store) as this. I also didn't want buy a battery grip that would only last me month or a week or even days.
While searching I came across the Polaroid battery grip, I was surprise and unaware that Polaroid even made DSLR Accessories and I was debating whether to get it or not more because it hasn't been reviewed by anyone and when I did a web search for product reviews I ended up with zero results. Knowing that Polaroid is a well known trusted brand I decided to take the chance and purchase the Item.
When receiving the Item, I was very surprised of the quality of the item. It does not look cheap, and you would have never have guess it's was Non-Canon brand product, because of the fact it looks identical to the actual Canon brand Battery. The Polaroid Battery Grip was very easy to attach and it flushes well with my Camera, the rubberized surface looks exactly like the rubberized surface on my Rebel. The placement of the buttons are placed in the same areas as the Canon battery grip and they actually work. The batteries are very easy to load either with standard AA batteries, or the actual Canon batteries for the Rebel, and I really like that it comes with Remote shutter Release control.
I'm very happy that I purchase this I, and I highly recommend buying this product, trust me you won't be disappointed. Because of being very satisfied of this product I would definitely look into more items that Polaroid makes for DSLR cameras, due the great quality at a low price.

(More customer reviews)I bought this battery for my Kodak EasyShare DX7440 digital camera. It cost me thirty dollars, which is a great price for a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery with a capacity of 1700 mAh.
I am very satisfied with this battery - it lasts for a long time and it's sold for a very reasonable price.
The battery supplied with the DX7440 is a Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery with a capacity of 1050 mAh, and I think it's always good to have an extra battery just in case.

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)First, a little bit of background information:
I purchased this battery, because I needed a replacement for the (now defective) battery that came with my laptop. The battery that came with the laptop (OEM battery) started off with about a two hour battery life and over the course of a year that number dropped to about five minutes worth of battery power. This was my own fault, as I did not know that leaving the laptop plugged in constantly would do substantial harm to the battery's longevity.
Now, after searching for a while, I found and purchased this battery because it was significantly cheaper than the replacement that HP was offering, and it seemed to be compatible with my computer (model# dv9933cl).
Here's my analysis:
- The battery arrived on time. So I have no complaints with the company itself.
- The battery was nicely packaged and on inspection did not have any scratches, dents, etc.
- Physically, the battery fits into my laptop, but part of it sticks put. It's very small, and unnoticeable, but it definitely sticks out of the battery compartment by a few millimeters. The OEM battery did not stick out at all. But this is a minor complaint, and it does not seem to affect the computer's performance in any way.
- The battery's life span, after a few test runs, seems to be around one hour and fifty minutes. Not as good as the OEM battery initially was, but more than I was expecting.
After owning the battery for about a month, I have no complaints. Obviously I'm being a lot more careful with the battery this time and when I have the laptop plugged to the wall, I remove the battery from the laptop in order to preserve its integrity. That way, hopefully, this battery will last much longer than the OEM battery did.
Bottom Line:
If you're looking for a battery to replace the battery in your laptop, and you don't want to spend the money that HP charges to get a replacement, then I suggest you get this one.

Whistler Xtr-540 Battery Operated Radar Detector Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The XTR-540 works great. Finds the radar long before I can spot the police. It is a great tool to keep your speed in check. Being cordless,I can swap to my motorcycle with ease.
Battery lasts about 4-5 days of 50 mile roundtrip commuting.

Whistler's XTR-540 laser/radar detector gives you full band protection from radar signals, 360-degree laser detection, Whistler's patented VG-2 cloaking technology, and plenty more. The brilliant blue text display, along with tone alerts and Whistler's unique alert periscopes, mean you'll never miss an alert. Competitive features and competitive pricing.

Battery Powered The unit can provide approximately 15 hours of laser/radar detection with three rechargeable AA Ni-MH batteries, or you can plug it into your vehicle's cigarette lighter adapter (this will recharge the batteries).
Blue LCD Text Display The XTR-540's brilliant display provides distinct visual confirmation of signals detected, signal strength, and indicates engaged modes of operation.
Patented POP Mode Detection There are new guns out there that operate just like the instant-on guns of the past but with a very tough new twist--POP mode! This new gun is a normal K and Ka band radar gun detectable by most radar detectors made in the past 30 years until it's in POP mode. When the gun is in POP Mode and activated, a brief burst of energy, less than 1/15 of a second, is transmitted and the vehicle's speed is quickly acquired. A detector without POP Mode detection capability cannot respond to this brief transmission, but the XTR-540 can.
Low Profile Alert Periscopes Whistler's Low Profile Alert Periscopes provide an added attention getting visual alert. The two extra LEDs flash on and off when the unit alarms to provide a unique visual alert.
3 City Modes/Highway Mode Highway mode provides full audio and visual warning of laser/radar systems while maintaining full sensitivity. Highway mode is the default setting of all Whistler's laser/radar detectors. City mode helps reduce the annoyance of automatic door openers and burglar alarm alerts by providing an initial alert (same distance as Highway Mode) then remaining quiet unless the signal strength becomes very strong. When the signal increases the unit will alert briefly to notify you of the change in signal strength.
Stay Alert The Stay Alert feature is designed to test a driver's alertness. Within 30 to 60 seconds after the feature is engaged an alert is sounded; to show alertness, the driver must press the volume, city or the mute button within 3-5 seconds. If a button is pressed within 3-5 seconds, the cycle is repeated. If a button was not pressed within 3-5 seconds the unit alarms at full volume and the display shows an unique visual alert.
Quiet/Auto Quiet Modes Pressing QUIET before a signal is detected engages Auto Quiet Mode, which automatically reduces the audio level after the initial warning to a low audio level setting. Pressing QUIET during a radar/laser encounter silences audio alerts, while allowing visual alerts to keep you informed.
Alert Priority When two or more signals are received at the same time, the alert priority is: Laser, VG-2, Speed Radar, Safety Radar.
Example: If X band is alerting, then suddenly a VG-2 signal is detected, the VG-2 warning will override the X band alert.
Vehicle Battery Saver Mode The Vehicle Battery Saver Mode automatically shuts off your detector within 3 hours if you forget to turn it off. The timer is reset if the detector is turned off, unplugged or any button is pressed before the 6 hours have expired. The detector will alert you with an audible and visual warning before it shuts off.
Safety Warning System--SWS This relatively new radar is not for speed detection at all, it is used to keep you informed of highway safety. Transmitters are installed and programmed (for example: in emergency vehicles) to make you aware of possible situations that may require your attention, such as: ambulance vehicles that are moving or stationary, road hazards ahead, road construction delays or detours, etc.
VG-2 Detection Mode The VG-2, also known as a "radar detector detector," is a special receiver used by police to detect signals radiated by a radar detector. The XTR-540 alerts you its presence, and thanks to Whistler's patented VG-2 cloaking technology provides undetectability.

Deluxe Accessory Kit with Deluxe Padded Carrying Case + 4GB High Speed SDHC Card + Charger with 4 AA Rechargeable Batteries + Tripod + Precision Design Bonus Accessory Kit for Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS, Z812 IS, Z885, Z915, Z980 & Z1285 Digital Cameras Review

(More customer reviews)These accessories were recommended specifically to go with a Kodak digital camera I recently bought. Extremely useful were the tripods and the cleaning kits. However, the most important items in the pack were the rechargeable batteries and the charger. I was disappointed to realize that you can use the batteries for an extremely short time (they are AA)before they wear out (we're talking 20 minutes, even if you're only taking a few photos; forget about videos). What I needed and eventually bought for around 30 dollars was a Kodak rechargeable digital battery and charger. Thus, I felt misled by the placement of the product as compatible with the camera I bought, especially when I later saw that another pack did have the correct battery.
