Energizer Easy Battery Charger Kit Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item from Amazon because the kit included 4 AA rechargable batteries. Upon receiveing the item I discovered the kit actually had 2 AA and 2 AAA rechargable batteries. I need 4 AA not two. There are two different products listed for this kit, one being the aforementioned and the one I wanted. Energizer Easy Charger Kit
For this reason, I give both Amazon and eek Technology 1 star.

GEP 65W Replacement AC Adapter/Power Supply/Battery Charger For Dell Studio 1440, PP40L, 1555, PP39L Series Notebook Computer(Compatible Dell Model AA22850 Adapter) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)You should know immediately that ANY electronic is sensitive to the smallest of changes, and knock-off chargers can do anything from lowering long-term battery life to actually messing up your system.
You just can't expect the same quality from this as you would the official charger, but 60-80 dollars is nothing to sneeze at. If you think you can avoid keeping your laptop constantly plugged into this and instead only charge it when it needs it, you'll be saving fifty dollars.
Something I'm VERY pleased about is that the charger came in two days earlier than estimated! Thanks for not leaving my boyfriend without his computer, he's going to be very happy when he gets home.

Maha Powerex MHK5000 1-Hour Battery Conditioning Charger Kit with niMH Rechargeable AA Battery 4-Pack Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this unit from a local store - same model number etc, OK ? Now I'm checking this site's reviews better!
I have many NiMH AA & AAA batteries that have been working but I have noticed shortened life on. I talked to some friends and decided I needed a battery charger with a re-conditioner feature. This package came with 4 hi capacity AA batteries and for the price it looked like what I wanted.
First, I read instructions and saw AA's had to be of 2000Ma minimum, my old ones were rated as such so I figured it would be OK. I plugged in two of my old batteries and the unit began flashing the LED's ( manual indicated this means a a fault - batteries are dead, can't be charged :: yes I was reading the manual ! ). I pressed on the button you are supposed to for the discharge / condition feature to kick in - still fault light. I tried two others, same result. Two others, same result !
Also, upon looking closer at the manual this charger apparently ONLY charges in fast /quick charge mode ( 1 hour ). I know that this is harder on batteries ( shortens their life ). From what I now know, a true smart charger will adapt it's charging profile for the battery it is trying to charge - some even let you tweak it.
I have the notion that even though my old AA batteries are rated @ 2000 mAh ( MINIMUM recommended for AA's in this charger) , maybe their true capacity is now under their stated rating and it senses these are not up to it's charging profile ?
To me, this indicates the unit will not charge or recondition my existing batteries ! ( the reason I bought it ! )
I did charge the AA's that came with it and everything seemed OK - I never checked temperature or true charge time since I did it overnight.
I'm now reading about the Maha Powerex MH-C9000 WizardOne Charger-Analyzer ( also available at the same local store - about $5 more than here, but will have tonight ) it's reviewers here say it senses bad batteries better and changes it's charging profile, also you can really tweak how each of 4 batteries charge ( though a little tedious, apparently ) . Maybe I'll give it a shot.

Charger Unit weighs only 4 oz! No need to carry around another bag of luggage for your heavy charger. Unlike other models, the MH-C204W does not need an external power adapter - it has an universal power adapter built into it. The size of the MH-C204W is about the same size as a standard consumer digital camera
Instead of carrying around transformers for each country, the MH-C204W has an integrated 100-240V 50/60Hz international power supply. Take the charger anywhere in the world and never worry about voltage!
Recharge 2 AA or 2 AAA batteries right around 1 hour. Recharge 4 AA / AAA batteries in about two hours
Bring dead batteries back to life Like a well conditioned athlete, batteries also need to be conditioned from time to time so that it can produce maximum performance in all of your equipment. Batteries that were ready for the recycle bin may be brought back to life using the conditioning feature. The conditioning feature is also an useful tool at reviving poorly performing batteries.

Digipower DPS-5000 1 Hour AA/AAA Rechargeable Battery Kit with 4 AA 2700 mAh Batteries Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased 2 of these units. I plugged in both and waited for the batteries to charge. The first unit claimed that the batteries were fully charged after about 15 minutes, but they only lasted about 30 minutes in my Garmin Rino 130 (should have lasted several hours). Trying again the charger indicated fully charged again in 15 minutes. Apparently no good. The second set continued to charge and after about 3 hours the unit overheated and melted with the batteries expanding and leaking.
